This is the fourth week of the peace and protection camp to stop development
over the CLFN sacred burial grounds at English Bay near Cold Lake, Alberta
(Berry Point). The area holds very significant culturally-sensitive
ceremonial places including artifacts dated over 4,000 years old.
Berry-picking areas were cleared off for camping and R.V stalls. They are
asking all concerned, including all First Nations leadership, to assist us
in holding their position as peaceful and just inherent title holders to
this very special place for the Dene Suline of Cold Lake, Alberta.
