JUSTICE (a series of events that will be taking place between September

Families of Sisters in Spirit, the Native Youth Sexual Health Network and
POWER (Prostitutes of Ottawa Work Educate and Resist) invite you to an
evening panel on the sex worker's rights movement and Indigenous
communities. We want to offer a space for honest discussions about sex
work and the movement for decriminalization.

Some themes for the evening
1. Various voices in Indigenous communities re: decriminalization of sex work
2. Debunking some of the myths
3. Sex workers' rights movement - highlighting the Indigenous presence,
the work having been done, the successes, the clashes.
4. Critiques of the mainstream sex workers' rights movement
5. Allies and consensual allyship
6. Moving forward in activism around these issues
