  Hi all,

Since July 12th, 34 Mapuche political prisoners are on a hunger strike for
the last 56 days. Some of them are in a critical health situation right now.

Chile is planning to celebrate its bicentennial next September 18th,  and
we see no reason to celebrate seeing the gravity of this situation.

They are calling for the end of the anti-terrorist Act within the
Mapuche people and to end the double prosecution by the civil and military
justice.

Moreover, the Chilean Government has been censoring the news about it.

Please join us tomorrow September 8 from 9.00 am until 11.00 am, in a
demonstration
in front of the Chilean Consulate to support the Mapuches' cause at *1010
Sherbrooke O, Metro Peel.*

Je traduit un important appel urgent à se rassembler ce mercredi le 8
septembre 2010 devant le Consulat du Chili.

*Au Chili, il y a présentement 32 prisioniers politiques Mapuches qui vivent
actuellement une situation critique puisqu'ils sont en grève de la faim
depuis maintenant 54 jours et leurs vies sont en grave danger!

Nous sommes près près des fêtes de l'indépendance au Chili et il n'y a
aucune raison de célébrer étant donné cette grave situation.

Nous demandons l'abolition de la loi anti-terroriste et une meilleure
attitude de la part du gouvernement puisqu'il a la tête dans le sable et
censure les nouvelles.*

presos políticos en huelga de hambre. Ya llevan 54 días sin comer y sus
vidas corren un gran peligro. Estamos cerca de las fiestas patrias y no veo
ninguna razón para festejar viendo la gravedad de la situación. Se pide la
derogación de la ley anti terrorista y una actitud de parte del gobierno de
chile que lo único que ha hecho es ignorar lo que pasa censurando las
noticas.

En Montréal se hará una concentración en frente al consulado chileno este
miércoles 8 de septiembre de las 9h00 hasta las 11h00. Les pido confirmar a
