Anarchists Against the Wall (www.awalls.org) est un groupe d'action
directe qui lutte contre l'apartheid israélien et l'oppression sous
toutes ses formes, et plus récemment contre les atrocités à Gaza. Depuis
cinq ans le groupe mène une lutte constante contre le Mur d'Israël. Le
travail sur le terrain en Cisjordanie, en solidarité avec le mouvement

Berlin et nommé en l'honneur de l'allemand Carl von Ossietzky,
récipiendaire du prix Nobel pour la Paix et qui est mort dans un camp de
concentration nazi.

Maintenant plus que jamais, il est primordial d'appuyer le mouvement de
résistance israélienne contre la répression étatique de leurs actions.
Le membres d'Anarchists Against the Wall payent un prix pour notre
activisme en se faisant tirer, battre, arrêter et accuser. Ils ont un
besoin criant d'appui financier pour le support légal d'activistes
palestiniens et israéliens qui se font arrêter et accuser pour leur
participation dans la lutte.

Schachaf Polakow est un activiste israélien, infirmier de rue,
photographe avec le collectif ActiveStills (www.activestills.org) et un
membre d'Anarchists Against the Wall. Il sera en tournée aux États-Unis
et au Canada du 1er février au 9 mars. Sa présentation incluera film et
photos, et portera sur le travail récent en solidarité avec Gaza ainsi

legal fund of Anarchists Against the Wall, as well as to the struggle
against the Apartheid Wall in the Palestinian village of Nil'in.




Anarchists Against the Wall (www.awalls.org) is a direct action group that
fights against Israeli apartheid and oppression in all its forms, most
recently also the atrocities in Gaza. For five years the group has waged a
constant struggle against Israel's Wall. The work on the ground in the
West Bank, alongside the Palestinian popular movement is breaking new
ground in the joint struggle for Palestinian liberation. In December 2008,
Anarchists Against the Wall and the Bil'in Village Committee were jointly
awarded the prestigious Carl von Ossietzky Medal---an award given annually
by the Berlin-based International League of Human Rights, named after
German Nobel Peace Prize winner Carl von Ossietzky who died in a Nazi
concentration camp.

Now more than ever, it is critical to support the Israeli resistance
movement against the state's attempted repression of their work. Members
of Anarchists Against the Wall continually pay the price for our activism,
including being shot, beaten, arrested and indicted. They desperately need
funding for legal support for both Palestinian and Israeli activists who
are arrested and charged in the course of the struggle.

* About Schachaf Polakow
Schachaf Polakow is an Israeli actvist, street medic, photographer with
the ActiveStills collective (www.activestills.org) and a member of
Anarchists Against the Wall. He will be touring the U.S. and Canada from
February 1st to March 9th. His presentation will include film and photos,
and will focus both on AATW's recent work in solidarity with Gaza and our
ongoing work in the West Bank.
