Le Festival de l'Anarchie prendra place au moi de mai, avec des événements
reliés à l'anarchisme, dans plusieurs lieux publics de Montréal. Le Festival
de l’anarchite, dans le cadre du Salon du livre anarchiste de Montréal, est
l'un des plus importants événements du genre en Amérique du Nord. Au cours
de la dernière décennie, cet événement annuel s'est avéré un de principaux
points de convergence et de référence pour les idées et pratiques
anti-autoritaires.

Les événements auront lieu partout à Montréal, y compris aux endroits

Manifestation contre le capitalisme
au Parc Cabot à Montréal

Dans la foulée des protestations contre la crise qui se déroulent à travers
le monde, une manifestation contre le capitalisme est organisée pour le
Premier Mai, Fête internationale des travailleuses et des
travailleurs. Rassemblement à 17h30 - Départ à 18h30. La manifestation se
dirigera vers le bureau principal de la Caisse de dépôt et placement du
Québec dans le quartier des affaires (1000, place Jean-Paul-Riopelle, dans

Atelier: Piraterie et mouvement libertaire, entre le mythe et la réalité
Au Carrefour d'éducation populaire, 2356 rue Centre (métro Charlevoix)

Le mouvement libertaire actuel fait souvent référence à la piraterie des 17e
et 18e siècles dans son discours, son style de vie et ses références
symboliques. Cependant, qu'elle était la réalité de la piraterie? Est-ce que
les elements égalitaristes chez les pirates justifient que les libertaires
d'aujourd'hui y fassent référence? Cet atelier vise à exposer rapidement les
éléments historiques intéressants et moins intéressants pour les libertaires
actuels. Organisé par les comités d’éducation populaire du Centre Social

Demonstration Against Capitalism

As part of the growing worldwide demonstrations against the crisis, a
demonstration against capitalism is being organized as part of the May 1st
workers holiday. Gathering at 5:30pm, march at 6:30pm. The demonstration
will march to the main offices of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec
in the heart of the business district (1000, place Jean-Paul-Riopelle, in

Piracy and the Anarchist Movement: Between Myth and Reality

Today's anarchist movement often makes reference to the piracy of the17th
and 18th centuries, in its discourse, its lifestyle and its symbolism.
However, what was the reality of this piracy? Do the egalitarian practices
amongst pirates justify the references of today's anarchists? This workshop
aims to provide a quick overview of the interesting and less interesting
historical elements of piracy for today's anarchists. Organized by the

"Living as anarchists": From the "free milieux" to current practices

At the close of the 19th century anarchists in France -men and women-
"individualists", "communists", "naturists", created collective spaces,
"free milieux" or anarchist colonies. Putting into practice communism,
getting rid of all forms of authority, opting out of work, but also
overturning different aspects of daily life: family, love, education,
contraception, nutrition. These practices elicited a lot of questions on the
ways and possibility of in the immediate, "living as anarchists". Workshop
given by Céline, a French anarchist activist. Organized by la Mauvaise
