*In the year 2010, three major international events will be taking place in
the Canadian state: the Winter Olympics in Vancouver/Whistler (Feb 12-28);
the G-8 Leader's Summit (June/July, TBA), and the meeting of the NAFTA
leaders as part of the so-called "Security and Prosperity Partnership." The
Resistance 2010 Info Room at the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair is for
organizing resistance leading up to 2010, while actively supporting local
struggles of self-determination, justice and dignity.*

Spanish.]

*-- 11am: No Olympics on Stolen Land (EN) --*

Presentation on the resistance to colonialism on Turtle Island, including
current organizing against the Olympics. The presentation will include
photos and short video excerpts. Facilitated by Angela Sterritt and Gord
Hill, anti-Olympics indigenous organizers/artists from occupied "British
Columbia".

This workshop will present current struggles on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory
from a supporters' perspective, and the impending trial of  spokesperson
Shawn Brant, who faces 12 years in prison. Facilitated by Tyendinaga Support
Committee, allies & activists who support of the Mohawks of Tyendinaga in
their struggles.

An info-session about the current struggles for sovereignty and
self-determination by the Algonquins of Barrier Lake, a community located
four hours north of Montreal. Facilitated by the Barrier Lake Solidarity
Collective.

*-- 3pm: North Amerikan Resistance 2010 Strategy and Networking Session /
Anarchist Attack on the SPP and G8 (EN, FR, SP) --*

An opportunity for bookfair participants, from all over North Amerika, to
network and strategize around Resistance 2010 efforts, also providing a
space for American allies to talk about efforts to oppose the RNC and DNC,
as well as cross border alliances at the US-Mexican border. Includes a short
presentation on the anarchist case against the G8 and SPP (Security and
Prosperity Partnership), and more generally, the anarchist attack against
colonialism, capitalism, imperialism and global apartheid. Facilitated by
members of the PGA (People's Global Action) Bloc in Montreal.

En 2010, trois événements internationaux majeurs se tiendront au Canada: les
Jeux Olympiques d'hiver de Vancouver/Whistler (12-28 février), le sommet des
chefs d'État du G-8 (en juin ou en juillet) et la rencontre des chefs d'État
de l'ALÉNA dans la poursuite de l'agenda du «Partenariat pour la sécurité et
la prospérité» (PSP). Cette salle d'information est pour l'organisation de
la résistance vers 2010, et pour soutenir activement les luttes pour la
justice sociale et la dignité.*

*-- 11h: Pas d'Olympiques sur des terres volées! La résistance
anti-coloniale et anti-capitaliste des autochtones de l'Île de la Tortue
(ANG) --*

Gord Hill et Angela Sterritt, deux militants autochtones de la
Colombie-Britannique vont parler de la résistance au colonialisme sur l'Île
de la Tortue, incluant la lutte contre les Jeux olympiques de 2010. Leur
présentation inclura des photos et des extraits vidéos. Angela Sterritt est
une militante de la base, artiste et écrivaine de la nation Gitxsan de la
bande des Gitanmaax. Gord Hill est Kwakwaka'wakw et il est un écrivain avec
"Warrior Publications".

*-- 13h: Des anarchistes solidaires des luttes territoriales des Mohawks de
Tyendinaga (ANG) --*

Cet atelier présentera les luttes et revendications territoriales actuelles
des Mohawks de Tyendinaga, depuis la perspective des groupes et individus
qui les soutiennent, ainsi que le procès mené contre un porte-parole de la
communauté, Shawn Brant, qui fait face à 12 ans en prison. L'atelier sera
animé par des membres du Comité de soutien à Tyendianaga, des citoyens
engagés, alliés et activistes solidaires des luttes que mènent actuellement
les Mohawks de Tyendinaga.

Une session d'information sur les luttes actuelles pour la souveraineté et
l'autodétermination des algonquins de Lac Barrière, une communauté située 4
heures au nord de Montréal. Animé par le Collectif de Solidarité Lac
Barrière.

attaque anarchiste contre le G8 et le PSP (ANG, FR, ESP) --*

Ce sera une opportunité pour les participantEs au Salon du livre, de partout
en Amérique, de créer des liens et d'établir des stratégies pour Résistance
2010. Ce sera aussi un espace pour nos alliéEs américainEs de parler de
leurs luttes contre les RNC (Republican National Comitee) et DNC (Democratic
National Comitee), ainsi que les alliances interfrontières aux frontières
États-Unis/Mexique. Cette discussion incluera une présentation sur les
luttes anarchistes contre le G8 et le PSP («Partenariat pour la sécurité et
la prospérité») et, plus généralement, l'attaque anarchiste contre le
colonialisme, le capitalisme, l'impérialisme et l'apartheid mondial.

Présenté par des membres du Bloc Action Mondiale des Peuples de Montréal,
Québec et Ottawa.
