* L'exposition "Bil'in - Un village uni contre le mur" sera présentée au
Café l'Escalier du 9 janvier au 9 février 2009.

Joignez-vous à nous, de 5 à 7, pour le lancement de cette magnifique
exposition réalisée par ActiveStills. Il y aura aussi une présentation,
des petits films et de la bonne bouffe au chaleureux Café l'Escalier.

L'exposition présente des photos des luttes populaires contre le mur
d'apartheid israélien, ainsi que de la vie et de la survie quotidiennes à
Bil'in, en Palestine.

Bil'in, un village de moins de 2000 habitants, en Cisjordanie, a récemment
entamé une poursuite contre Greenpark et Greenmount, deux compagnies
enregistrées à Montréal, qui auraient participé au développement de
colonies illégales sur leurs terres. Les audiences préliminaires sont déjà
commencées à la Cour supérieure du
Québec et Tadamon! Montréal appuiera activement ce procès en 2009.

* “Bil’in – A Village United Against the Wall” will be on display at
Café l’Escalier from January 9th until February 9th, 2009.

join us for the 5à7 launch for a beautiful photo exhibit by
ActiveStills, with short films, speakers, and great food at the lovely
Café l’Escalier.

Exhibition features photos from the ongoing popular struggle against
Israel’s apartheid wall, and daily life and survival in Bil’in, Palestine.

Bil’in, a village of less than 2000 residents in the West Bank, recently
launched a law suit against Greenpark and Greenmount, two companies
registered in Montreal, who are alleged to have ties to illegal
settlement development on Bil’in’s land. Preliminary proceedings are
already underway at the Superior Court of Quebec in Montreal, and
Tadamon! Montreal will be actively supporting the lawsuit throughout 2009.

change, convinced in the power of photography as a vehicle of change
