This August 19-21, 2007, protesters will gather in Montebello, Quebec to
oppose the meeting of George Bush, Stephen Harper, Felipe Calderon and the
Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) at the Chateau Montebello Hotel.

In brief, the "Security and Prosperity Partnership" (SPP) combines the
destructive neo-liberal policies of the North American Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA) with the fear and paranoia of post 9-11 "Homeland Security"
policies. The SPP is firmly rooted within a colonial and capitalist

Les 19-21 août 2007, des manifestants se réuniront à Montebello, Québec pour
opposer la réunion de George Bush, Stephen Harper, Felipe Calderon et le
Partenariat pour la sécurité et la prospérité (PSP).

En peu de mots, le PSP conjugue les politiques destructrices néolibérales de
l'Accord de libre échange nord-américain (ALENA) aux tactiques de peur et de
paranoïa associées aux politiques de « sécurité nationale », tout en
demeurant fidèle aux traditions colonialistes et ultra capitalistes qui sont
