Montreal`s Urban Cultural Festival

Date: Saturday Sept. 23 & Sunday Sept. 24 2006

Location: Cabot Square, corner of Atwater & St-Catherine W.  (Metro Atwater)

Saturday SCHEDULE:

10 am to 2 pm - Childrens activities & Story telling

12 pm to 5 pm - First Nations Pow-wow (Grand entry 12 pm, Inuit games &
throat singing 2pm, Eagle staff retreat 5 pm)
- Zero Tolerance; No Drugs and / or Alcohol Allowed

5:30 pm Native Rapper Samian(Algonquin)

6 pm Reggae group Xpression

Sunday SCHEDULE:

10 am to 2 pm - Childrens activities & Story telling

10 am to 7 pm Multi Cultural Music Festival

Some of the bands featured; Boutique baladi, Celestial Cirquit, Full
Vibes, Labess,  Grupo de Capoeira Porto de Barra, Troop Kammberon, Salah
family, The Royals....

All day there will be craft vendors, free workshops, family activities and
opportunities to meet other people from Montreal in a peacefull and sharing
environment

This event is organised by the "All Together" Project and the Peter McGill
Community Council
