Two events this year for International Day Against Police Brutality:

1. Street Action Against the Cops in Vancouver

We are a small group of friends who are calling for an action-oriented
march through the streets of Vancouver against the cops on March 15th,
the International Day Against Police Brutality. If you are interested,
you can get together a group of friends and come out on March 15th to
take action against the cops. At last year’s march, people threw eggs at
the Main street police station in the Downtown Eastside and hit police
cars with sticks.

We aren’t just against police brutality. We’re against police control.
The cops’ main job is to protect the social class of people who have
money, power and property, the people who exploit and boss around the
rest of us, the people who control public and corporate space. The cops
will harass, lie about, arrest, beat down, steal from, and kill us as
long as they can get away with it, as long as we don’t unite and resist
their control. More often than not, the cops won’t protect us from
social
predators, as the Vancouver Police Department’s negligence in the
Missing
Women case has shown.

Respect to the memories of Gerald Chenery, Robert Bagnell, Roman
Adreichikov, Christopher Ecklund, Benny Matson, Jeff Berg, Frank
Paul and
other people who Vancouver cops have killed.

This is class war.
