URGENT CALL FOR DEMONSTRATION SUNDAY JULY 16, 11AM - PEEL AND RENE LEVESQUE

In the past 96 hours, the Israeli assault has killed 97 civilians in
Lebanon, tens of who were children and 266 injuries.

Due to the latest escalation and attacks that Israel has been waging against
Lebanese civilians targeting people in their homes and damaging
the vital infrastructure that supports their daily lives: roads,
institutions, bridges, and airports.

You are asked to join in the demonstration to protest and denounce the
Israeli atrocities and crimes that have been committed against unarmed
innocent civilians.

Major concerns:

1. We call on the Canadian government to issue a stern warning to Israel to
halt its military assault against Lebanon and to desist from any plans to
invade the country.
2. We strongly condemn the pro-Israel position of the Prime Minister Stephen
Harper.
3. We call on the Canadian government to make plans to evacuate their
nationals from Lebanon.

Après 96 heures, le bombardement barbare Israélien a tué près de 97 civiles
au Liban, dont des dizaines d'enfants innocents et 266 blessés.

Nous ne pouvons garder le silence devant le massacre d'Israël où des
centaines de personnes innocentes seront tués et expulsés de leur maison et
de leur terre.

Les objectifs principaux :

1. Nous demandons au gouvernement canadien de condamner immédiatement
l'attaque brutale envers la nation libanaise et de forcer Israël à retirer
son armée du territoire libanais.
2. Nous condamnons la position pro-israélienne du Premier Ministre Stephen
Harper. Nous demandons au Canada de prendre une position pacifique, juste
et impartiale de la dernière décennie et rectifie sa position non objective
qui favorise les attaques meurtrières d'Israël contre le Liban et la
Palestine.
3. Nous demandons au gouvernement Canadien d'évacuer les citoyens canadiens
au Liban
