Normally the only thing i use this list for is to let people know about 
new stuff i am selling on Kersplebedeb. I am making an exception right 
now, though, as a VERY IMPORTANT issue has come up which i am hoping you 
all can help with.

As many of you know, indigenous people at Six Nations, in Ontario, 
Canada, have been involved in a land reclamation ever since March 2006. 
A developer had "bought" land which had been stolen from the 
Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), and was planning on building luxury homes 
there. Thanks to the very brave actions of the people at Six Nations, 
this was prevented.

The Reclamation has not gone unopposed. Police raided the camp on April 
20th, beating and tasering indigenous people who resisted. And the 
settler population of Caledonia has become increasingly racist, becoming 
a virtual no-go zone for Native people, and also coming together in 
several large anti-Native demonstrations. Besides garden variety 
racists, these anti-Native gatherings have attracted some neo-nazis as 
well. (For instance, see today's post on my blog at 
http://sketchythoughts.blogspot.com/)

The reason you are getting this email is not just to let you know about 
this, though. As i already mentioned, that's not what i normally use 
this list for.

But today some racists have posted a video on Youtube, giving out 
pictures, addresses, and phone numbers of people supporting Six Nations 
and encouraging violence against them.

So... i am asking you to take a minute or two, and go to the page on 
Youtube where this video can be found, and click on the link "Flag as 
inappropriate" (on the right hand side of the screen, about half way 
down). Feel free also to leave a comment telling the racists to fuck off.

The Kersplebedeb mailing list has over nine hundred people on it. We 
should be able to get this video taken off.

This is a concrete way to support the indigenous struggle at Six 
Nations, and the activities of anti-racists living in Caledonia.
