Niocan is Opening an Office in Oka

OKA, QUEBEC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 08, 2006 -- Niocan Inc. (TSX:
NIO)  announces that the mining company has opened an office located at
135  Notre-Dame Street in downtown Oka.

Anybody willing to learn much more about the coming developments and on
the  socio-econo-environmental aspects of our small underground niobium
mine  project in the Ste-Sophie range is invited to come and meet us.

The Oka office will be attended on Fridays from 14 H 00 - 20 H 00 and on 
Saturdays, from 11 H 00 - 15 H 00.

Niocan does want to become soon an appreciated corporate citizen in the
Oka  region and also to be considered as a sustainable contributor to all
the  following sectors; agriculture, agro-tourism, ecological and
industrial.
