TYENDINEGA MOHAWKS STILL CONTROL CN RAIL LINES...
-Tyendinega Mohawk Territory, near Belleville Ontario
8PM ET
News reports are circulating that the Mohawks of Tyendinega have
disengaged their hold on the CN Rail line 20km outside of Belleville
Ontario. This is innacurate. Bay of Quine Mohawks seized the rail line
late Thursday night/Friday morning in solidarity with the brothers and
sisters at Grand River Six Nations Reserve. This is not a sympathy
protest, Mohawks are part of the Six Nation Haudenosaunee
Confederacy...this is a stand to support family and friends. No frieght
will move to eastern Canada from the heartland while the threat of
invasion and violence is held over Six Nations.
The news is saying now that the Mohawks have left the barricades. Some
have left, as they are free to do as they will. But many have still
remainded despite the court injunction CN Rail has acquired against them.
Reinforcements of warriors have arrived from Akwesasne and Kahnawake and
are now standing firm on the rail lines.
Support and solidarity is needed from native and non-natives alike. Food,
water, reliable bodies, and supplies may all be needed as the crisis wears
on. The blockade is set up at the north end of Wyman Road in Tyendinega
Mohawk Territory. Stand strong...
