«Tous Ensemble! – All Together!» Urban Aboriginal Cultural Festival

Montreal, September 24th-25th, 2005

On September 24th and 25th, 2005, the Native Friendship Center of Montreal, 
in partnership with Peter McGill, will be hosting a Cultural Festival with 
the characteristics of a traditional Aboriginal powwow. The festival will be 
held at Cabot Square Park, located on the corner of Ste Catherine and 
Atwater, with park entrances opening at 10 A.M. Grand Entry is at 11A.M.

The NFCM, in partnership with the Peter-McGill Community Council, have 
launched a new project; «Tous Ensemble! – All Together!» The festival will 
be our conclusion to the three summer events that have all been located in 
the surrounding Atwater area.

«Tous Ensemble! – All Together!» Activites
-   Local talent will be featuring traditional singing, drumming and 
dancing.  The public will be encouraged to join and participate
-   Mural Painting: we will finish Leaving Our Mark! and help paint a mural 
on the North side of Ste Catherine, between Lambert-Closse and Chomedy.
-   Aboriginal arts and craft vendors will be on site
-   In the spirit of «Tous Ensemble! – All Together!» the public will have 
the opportunity to meet and converse with Montreal’s urban Aboriginal 
people.

«Tous Ensemble! – All Together!»

Montréal, le 24 et 25 septembre, 2005

Le 24 et 25 septembre 2005, le centre d'amitié autochtone de Montréal, en 
association avec Inter-action du quartier Peter McGill, présentera une 
grande fête interculturelle dans le style d'un Pow Wow traditionnel.  La 
fête aura lieu au Square Cabot, situé au coin de la rue Ste Catherine et du 
boulevard Atwater.  Les entrées du parc seront ouvertes à 10h du matin, avec 
la Grande Entrée à 11h.

«Tous Ensemble! – All Together!» Activités!
-   Des artistes locaux seront misent en vedette, et la participation du 
publique sera encouragée.
-   On terminera le projet Laisser Notre Marque! en complétant une peinture 
murale sur la côte nord de la rue Ste Catherine, entre Lambert-Closse et 
Chomedy.
-   Des artisanats autochtones seront vendus.
