Joignez-vous à nous lors de cette soirée rétrospective de la marche
historique "Personne n'est illégal! ", menée par des réfugiéEs sur 8
jours, de Montréal à Ottawa, en juin 2005. Cette soirée multimédia se
développera autour des campagnes et actions courantes de Solidarité sans
frontières et des luttes que mènent les personnes sans-statut pour rester
au Canada.

Du 18 au 25 juin 2005, des centaines de personnes sans-statut et leurs
supporters ont participé à une marche de 8 jours, de Montréal à Ottawa. Le
but de cette action était de livrer au gouvernement canadien  les quatre
revendications de Solidarité sans frontières : la fin des déportations des
réfugiés; la fin des détentions; l'abolition des certificats de sécurité;
et un statut pour toutes et tous. Bien que certaines personnes soient venu
d'aussi loin qu'Edmonton ou Vancouver pour y participer, la marche a été
inspirée et menée par des personnes qui sont arrivé ici de beaucoup plus
loin. Alors que nous continuons à exiger des actions concrètes de la part
du gouvernement canadien et d'Immigration Canada, notre lutte se poursuit.
À chaque pas, nous écrivons notre propre histoire.

Le 9 octobre prochain, venez vous détendre et regarder en exclusivité des
films et des images de la marche. Il y aura aussi de la musique en direct
pour vous faire bouger et vous inspirer!

Join us for an entertaining evening as we look back on the historic 8-day
refugee march from Montreal to Ottawa of June, 2005.  This multi-media
evening will focus on the ongoing campaigns and actions of Solidarity
Across Borders and the courageous struggles of non-status people to stay
in Canada.

From June 18-25th, 2005, hundreds of non-status people and their
supporters took part in an 8-day march from Montreal to Ottawa.  The goal
was to bring four main demands to the doorstep of the Canadian
government; an end to deportations, an end to detentions, the abolition of
security certificates, and status for all.  While people came from as far
away as Edmonton and Vancouver to participate, the march was inspired and
led by people who have travelled here from much further.  As we continue
to demand action on the part of the Canadian government and Immigration
Canada, we move forward in our struggle as well.  Through each step, we
are forging our own history.

On October 9th, come out to relax, enjoy never-seen before films from the
march, dance to live music, and be inspired!
