On June 7th, Bombardier will hold its annual general meeting in Montreal. 
This is a key opportunity for Tibetans and Tibet supporters to show 
Bombardier management and shareholders what Bombardier's involvement in the 
Tibet railway means, and to remind them that Bombardier has no business 
partnering with the Chinese government in its occupation of Tibet.

*Please join* Tibetans and supporters there to speak out against the 
company's involvement in the Tibet railway. Please also forward this 
announcement on to everyone you know in the Montreal area!

*What:* Rally/demonstration to call on Bombardier to get out of Tibet

*When:* Tuesday, June 7th, 9am to 12pm

*Where:* Le Centre Sheraton, 1201 Rene-Levesque Blvd West, Montreal (between 
Drummond and Stanley) 

*Bombardier shares in China's occupation of Tibet
*
Bombardier is engaged in a partnership with the Chinese government to build 
rail cars for the China-Tibet railway. Once completed, the railway will 
facilitate an influx of Chinese settlers into Tibet, threatening the very 
survival of Tibetan culture. It will also cause extensive environmental 
damage, enable increased exploitation of Tibet's natural resources by the 
Chinese government, and lead to increased militarization of the Tibetan 
plateau.

Merci a tous ceux d'entre vous qui ont envoye des fax au PDG de Bombardier, 
appelant Bombardier a cesser sa participation au desastreux chemin de fer de 
la Chine au Tibet. Ensemble, nous avons envoye 500 fax a son bureau, et, au 
moment ou vous lisez ceci, de nombreux autres arrivent de la part de membres 
d'un de nos partenaires de coalition, le Comite Canada-Tibet. A present, il 
y a une autre facon pour vous d'aider. 

Le 7 juin, Bombardier tiendra son assemblee generale annuelle a Montreal. 
C'est une opportunite exceptionnelle pour les Tibetains et sympathisants du 
Tibet de montrer aux dirigeants et actionnaires de Bombardier ce que 
l'implication de Bombardier dans le chemin de fer au Tibet signifie, et de 
leur rappeler qu'ils ne doivent pas s'associer avec le gouvernement chinois 
dans son occupation du Tibet.

l'implication de la compagnie dans le chemin de fer au Tibet. Veuillez aussi 
faire suivre cette annonce a toutes vos connaissances dans la region de 
Montreal!

Tibet

*Bombardier participe a l'occupation chinoise du Tibet

Bombardier est engagee dans un partenariat avec le gouvernement chinois pour 
construire des wagons pour le chemin de fer Chine-Tibet. Une fois complete, 
le chemin de fer facilitera un afflux de colons chinois au Tibet, menacant 
la survie meme de la culture tibetaine. Il causera egalement d'importants 
dommages environnementaux, permettra une exploitation accrue des ressources 
naturelles du Tibet par le gouvernement chinois, et menera a une 
militarisation accrue du plateau tibetain.
