About the video essay:  Some professors at McGill were interviewed to begin discussions on the history of environmental thought. Various First Nations were then interviewed about specific subjects, ranging from ecological concepts, to environmental policy-making, to research methods in communities. These voices gave new perspectives to mainstream science.
Interviews were conducted with Ellen Gabriel (President of Quebec Native Women and spokesperson during Oka), the Kahnawake Environmental Protection Office, and more.
