suicides and continuous breakouts, is one of five mainland camps in 
Australia
that lock up hundreds of women, men, and children displaced by war in
Afghanistan and Iraq. 30 minutes. Presented by No One Is Illegal.

THE SILENCE OF THE ZAPATISTAS documents non-violent protests organized by
Zapatista communities against the military presence in the Autonomous
Municipality of San Pedro Michoacan. 12 minutes. Presented by Mexican
Association of Students.

BACON In an effort to conquer the international pork markets, producers in
Quebec industrialized the industry at the expense of rural Quebec. 30 minute
excerpt. Presented by the Peoples Potato.

WHO'S COUNTING? SEX, LIES AND GLOBAL ECONOMICS. Marilyn Waring is the 
foremost
spokesperson for global feminist economics, and her ideas offer new avenues 
of
approach for political action. 20 minute excerpt. Presented by Sustainable
Concordia.

ANGELS IN AMERICA, based on Tony Kushner's prize-winning play became a 
defining
theatrical event of the 1990s, an astonishing mix of philosophy, politics, 
and
vibrant gay soap opera. 20 minute excerpt. Presented by Queer Union.

PEOPLE AND THE LAND airdrops viewers into the universe of an occupied 
people,
unreeling images of a new form of apartheid based on ethnicity. Challenging
U.S. foreign policy and the conventions of the documentary form itself, 
People
and the Land examines the concrete realities of Israel's conduct in the West
Bank and Gaza, the level of U.S. support for that conduct through foreign 
aid,
and the human cost of that aid in Palestine and the U.S. 57 minutes. 
Presented
by Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights.

KANEHSATAKE Members of the Kanehsatake community speak out about the recent
conflict over policing, land and governance (14 minutes) & GOOD OL’ BOYS is 
the
Warrior response to a threatening police presence near the community on May 
2nd
2004 (8 minutes). Presented by the Indigenous Peoples Solidarity Movement.

FENCED OUT documents the fight for the Christopher St. pier - one of the 
only
places in New York City where youth of color, low income, homeless and
l/g/b/t/q youth could once hang out. 18 minutes. The Dragonroot Centre for
Gender Advocacy.

FROM KALINGAR TO LANJIGARH examines the 12-year peoples struggle against an
Alcan-backed bauxite mine in eastern India. 20 minutes. Presented by Alcan’t 
in
India.
