For the large-scale demonstration against the deportation of Palestinian
refugees from Canada

On Saturday September 18th 2004, the Coalition Against The Deportation Of
Palestinian Refugees and their supporters are organizing a large-scale
demonstration in the streets of Montreal. This demonstration is aimed to
build support and solidarity with the Palestinian refugees who are facing
deportation from Canada, while commemorating the thousands of Palestinian
refugees who lost their lives in the 1982 massacre of Sabra and Chatila,
during the Israeli invasion of Beirut.

The strength & success of this demonstration greatly depends on the
participation and the mobilizing efforts of supporting organizations and
individual volunteers. With this in mind, organizations and individual
volunteers are invited to join the organizing efforts for the
demonstration by attending an organizing assembly which will take place on
Thursday September 9th at 6PM at Atwater Library (1200 Atwater Ave).

The Coalition Against the Deportation of Palestinian Refugees specifically
encourages representatives from the over 140 organizations, community
groups, unions, political parties and faith based groups who have endorsed
the demands of the Palestinian refugees facing deportation to attend this
assembly.

Your presence at this organizing assembly is of great importance to the
Palestinian refugees facing deportation from Canada, and to the success of
the September 18th demonstration.
