About the ISM
The ISM is a rapidly expanding Palestinian led-movement
movement
consisting of Internationals and local Palestinians,
based in the occupied
Palestinian territories. The presence of the ISM in the
occupied
Palestinian territories creates a space within which
Palestinians can
conduct non-violent means of resistance to the Israeli
system of terror,
apartheid and illegal occupation.  Here in Montreal,
the local branch of
the ISM aims to strengthen the Palestine solidarity
movement, build a
public awareness of the situation, and to link the
struggle to end the
occupation of Palestine with local Indigenous struggles
on Turtle Island
(occupied North America).
