Greetings,

A group of students from the U of S as well as community activists have
arranged a March to be held this FRIDAY NOVEMBER 19 at 11:00 A.M.
beginning in the bowl on the U of S campus.

The original idea for this march was to counter the demonstrations that
have occurred in support of the Saskatoon Police Services.

The theme of this March is to highlight the need for equal justice for
all, as well as to publicly support the Stonechild family, Judge Wright
(of the STONECHILD INQUIRY), Chief Russell Sabo, as well as all of the
lives that the justice system and/or police service has failed to protect.
Although it was a minor victory for social justice, a lot more must be
accomplished in terms of policing, healing and fighting racism both
locally and globally within a marginalized and often overlooked area of a
community.

Our plan is to begin our March at the bowl, meet up with students at FNUC,
from there meet up with students at SIIT and commence our march at the
Saskatoon Police Station where we will have arranged speakers as well as
an opportunity for individuals to voice themselves.

We are anticipating for this to be a huge success with people in
attendance such as well known community members, elders, professors,
social activists, students, community members and the media. PLEASE
FORWARD this to all who may be interested in attending.

Thank-you!
