Speakers:

Bernard Ornilla, originally from the Basque country, is a radical
economist who has been working for the past two years in El Salvador with
CEICOM observatorio del sur. He helped organise the meso american social
forum, which took place this past summer in El Salvador, and gives talks
regularly on CAFTA and the Plan Puebla Panama.

Marisa Berry is a student and local Montreal activist who just returned
from 9 months in Ecuador, where she worked with El Federacion Campesino.
She currently organises with Clac-Amerique Latine (Convergence des Luttes
Anti-Capitalist), a local montreal working group.  http://clac.taktic.org/


This talk/workshop will focus on recent developments of different
bilateral agreements and "development" projects like Plan Puebla Panama,
Plan Colombia, and CAFTA; their links to militarisation - and resistance
to all of the above.
