CKUT RADIO: THE 15th ANNUAL FUNDING DRIVE
A Call for Support from the Tuesday Morning After

The Tuesday Morning After is calling for your support and solidarity as
part of CKUT's 15th Annual Funding Drive, set to take the airwaves between
March 25th & April 4th. CKUT's Annual Funding Drive is an opportunity for
both the listeners and participants of the Tuesday Morning After to show
their financial support for CKUT Radio, as one of the most vital and
listened to community radio stations in Montreal and throughout Canada.

As a campus-based community radio station we depend heavily on your
economic support throughout the year and specifically during our annual
Funding Drive, as CKUT receives little or no corporate or government
funding. It is your donations, which in many ways sustain the functions of
the station and make possible CKUT news and cultural programming such as
the Tuesday Morning After. Similar to CKUT's programming, station funding
relies heavily on the collective effort of the Montreal community.

The Tuesday Morning After remains committed to providing radio programming
that acts as a tool for community based organizing and activism both
locally in Montreal and internationally. Attempting to provide direct
access to the airwaves, for the most marginalized and oppressed segments
of society, such as the homeless, immigrant, refugee and indigenous
communities.

As part of the 15th Annual Funding Drive at CKUT, the Tuesday Morning
After needs your donations in our efforts to reach our goal of raising
1000$, as part of the larger goal of 70 000$ as the grand total for the
Annual Funding Drive at CKUT. This is a direct call for you to economic
support to both the listeners and participants of the Tuesday Morning
After as part of the upcoming CKUT Funding Drive,

In Solidarity,
Stefan Christoff

----> Get Involved: As the Tuesday Morning After is a collective program
of CKUT Radio we are always looking for new input, views and ideas from
listens. CKUT as a campus-based community radio station directly attempts
to create a space for involvement from listeners, with a focus on
providing a media voice to communities in struggle. This call is also a
call for people to get involved with the Tuesday Morning After and CKUT
Radio, we are always looking for new volunteers and programmers. Get in
touch!

----> Pre-Pledges: If you are interested in giving a donation to the
Tuesday Morning After you can pledge on-line at:

----> Economic Support from Groups & Organizations: The Tuesday Morning
After focuses on building direct ties with social justice movements both
locally in Montreal and in communities throughout the world. Specifically
the Tuesday Morning After attempts to develop concrete ties with various
community-based groups, organizations and activists.

It is on this basis we are directly calling on community based grassroots
groups and organizations both in Montreal and throughout the world to
support the Tuesday Morning After and CKUT during the funding drive. If
you are a member or representative of a group or organization interested
in donating to the Tuesday Morning After contact us.

----> Local & Global Programming of the Tuesday Morning After:

Locally the Tuesday Morning After has consistently provided a direct voice
to marginalized communities engaged in social justice struggles. From
reports taken on the front-line struggle against homelessness and poverty
during the Tent City constructed this summer in Montreal, to interviews
with members of Montreal's Action Committee of Non-Status Algerians,
concerning their struggle against deportation, to reports from grassroots
activists from the Mohawk community of Kanehsatake. The Tuesday Morning
After has created an alternative media space, for the voices of directly
effected members of oppressed communities to broadcast their political and
cultural views on the airwaves of CKUT.

Internationally the Tuesday Morning After attempts to provide listeners
the perspectives of oppressed communities from throughout the world,
specifically focusing on the global south, which are often under-covered
and/or misrepresented in corporate and state run media. From reports
broadcast live on the airwaves of CKUT from Palestinians on the frontlines
of the struggle against Israeli occupation, to the popular movements
against large-scale prison-like detention centres in Australia, to reports
from the unemployed workers movements in Argentina. The Tuesday Morning
After provides an alternative media voice for marginalized communities
involved in social justice struggles throughout the world.

----> Listen to Previous Programs On-Line: The Tuesday Morning After makes
a consistent effort to distribute interviews, documentaries and reports,
as a means for community radio stations throughout the world to access to
our programming. Listen to past programming from the Tuesday Morning After
