10AM-12PM: Breakfast and Morning Panel: CANADA MEANS WAR (room A-2860)
* Clifton Arihwakehte on Canadian colonialism. Clifton is a member of the
Kanestake Mohawk community.
* Aziz Choudry on Canadian corporations and war. Aziz Choudry is an
activist, researcher and writer on neoliberal globalization, colonization,
and struggles for social, political and economic justice.
* Elise Hugus on Canada's role in missle defence and the arms trade. Elise
is a freelance journalist and contributor to CKUT's community news
collective.
* Rabie Masri on Canada's role in Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan. Rabie
is an activist with the Coalition to Stop the Deportation of Palestinian
Refugees.

a) Workshop: LOOKING FOR CANNON-FODDER - HOW THE ARMY RECRUITS (room
A-2860)
* Benjamin Ramos Rosado: Benjamin is a 27-year old New York City activist,
active with the Latin@ Coalition for Peace and Justice, Vieques Support
Campaign and the ProLibertad Freedom Campaign (New York City)
* Stephen Arthur. Stephen has been active in the movement against the war
in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as Black Planet Books and the Roundhouse
Collective (NEFAC-Baltimore). His sister is currently in Iraq with the US
Army.
* Joane Bourget: Joane is a nurse working on Inuit land. She will address
the recruitment of indigenous peoples by the Canadian Armed Forces.

b) Workshop: CSIS, THE WAR ON TERROR AND THE SECURITY STATE (room A-2830)
* Hind Charkaoui: Hind is a member of the Justice Coalition for Adil
Charkaoui. She will address the CSIS intimidation and security
certificates. Her brother is Adil Charkaoui.
* Alexandre Popovic: Alex is a member of the Collective Opposed to Police
Brutality (COBP) in Montreal. He will give an overview of the Canadian
security state, including law C-36 and an update on Canada's list of
"terrorist entities"

c) Workshop: OTHER ZONES OF "TERROR" (room A-2820)
* Leila Celis: Leila is a member of the CLAC Latin America/FTAA Committee,
and Projet Solidarite Accompagnement Colombie (PASC).
* Marco Luciano: Marco is a member of the Filipino Workers Support Group.

* Ben Amorkane of the Action Committee of Non-Status Algerians.
* Ahmed Rustom of the Coalition Against the Deportation of Palestinian
Refugees.
* Shamim Ali Naeem of the Action Committee of Pakistani Refugees.

c) Workshop: THE "RECONSTRUCTION" OF IRAQ (room A-2860)
* Ehab Lotayef: Ehab is a Montreal-based poet and computer engineer. He
spent the month of December in Iraq as an observer for the Iraq Solidarity
Project.
* Raymond Legault: Raymond is a member of Voices of Conscience and is an
active member of the coordinating committee of Echec a la Guerre and the
Iraq Solidarity Project.
* Fallah Alwan, President of the Independent Federation of Workers'
Councils and Trade Unions of Iraq in Baghdad (pre-recorded one week before
from Iraq)

4-6pm: Closing Panel: RESISTING THE WAR MACHINE: PERSPECTIVES FROM THE
ANTI-WAR MOVEMENT (room A-2860)
* Joel Bassales: Joel is a teacher's assistant at the Universite de
Montreal, a store clerk, and a member of the Northeast Federation of
Anarcho-Communists (NEFAC-Montreal)
* Martine Eloy: Martine is a member of the Comite Suivi of Echec a la
guerre, where she represents the Federation of Nurses of Quebec (FIIQ).
She has been actively working against the invasion and occupation of Iraq
through Echec a la guerre since the fall of 2003.
* Mary Foster: Mary is an anti-war activist and organizer with Block the
Empire-Montreal.
* Jaggi Singh: Jaggi is a writer and organizer, and is active with the No
One Is Illegal Campaign and the Anti-Capitalist Convergence (CLAC)

* Clifton Arihwakehte sur le colonialisme à la canadienne. Clifton
est un membre de la communauté Mohawk de Kanesatake.
* Aziz Choudry sur les compagnies canadiennes et la guerre. Aziz
Choudry est un militant, chercheur et auteur de textes sur la
mondialisation néolibérale, la colonisation et les luttes pour la
justice sociale, politique et économique.
* Elise Hugus sur le rôle du Canada dans le bouclier anti-missile et
le commerce d'armement. Elise Hugus est une journaliste pigiste et
contribue au collectif des nouvelles communautaires de CKUT.
* Rabie Masri sur le rôle du Canada en Palestine, en Irak et en
Afghanistan. Rabie Masri milite avec la Coalition contre la
déportation des réfugié-e-s palestinien-ne-s.

* Benjamin Ramos Rosado: Benjamin est un militant new-yorkais de 27 ans,
actif avec la Latin Coalition for Peace and Justice, le Vieques Support
Campaign et le ProLibertad Freedom Campaign (New York).
* Stephen Arthur. Stephen est actif dans le mouvement contre la guerre en
Irak et an Afghanistan, ainsi que dans les collectifs Black Planet Books
et Roundhouse (NEFAC-Baltimore). Sa soeur est présentement en Irak avec

* Hind Charkaoui: Hind est membre de la Coalition Justice pour Adil
Charkaoui. Elle parlera de la campagne d'intimidation du SCRS et des
certificats de sécurité. Hind est la soeur d'Adil.
* Alexandre Popovic: Alex est membre du Collectif opposé à la
brutalité policière (COBP) à Montréal. Il donnera une présentation
sur les appareils de l'État sécuritaire canadien, notamment la loi C-
36 et une mise à jour sur la liste des "entités terroristes" selon le
gouvernement
canadien.

* Ehab Lotayef: Ehab est un poète et ingénieur informatique
montréalais. Il a passé le mois de décembre en Irak comme observateur
pour le Projet Solidarité-Irak.
* Raymond Legault: Raymond est un membre de [Objection de conscience]
et est un membre actif du comité de coordination d'Échec à la guerre
ainsi que du Projet Solidarité-Irak.
* Fallah Alwan, un membre du mouvement ouvrier irakien (pré-enregistré en
direct de l'Irak) abordera la résistance syndicale et populaire face
à la "reconstruction" de l'Irak menée par des puissances étrangères.

16h à 18h: Panel de fermeture: RÉSISTER à LA MACHINE DE GUERRE:
PERSPECTIVES DU MOUVEMENT ANTI-GUERRE (local A-2860)
* Joel Bassales: Joel un professeur-assistant à l'Université de
Montréal, un commis de magasin et un membre de la Fédération des
Communistes-Libertaires du Nord-Est (NEFAC-Montreal).
* Martine Éloy: Martine est membre du Comité suivi d'Échec à la
guerre, où elle représente la Fédération des Infirmières et
Infirmiers du Québec (FIIQ). Elle travaille activement contre
l'invasion et l'occupation de l'Irak depuis l'automne 2003.
* Mary Foster: Mary est une militante anti-guerre active avec le
collectif Bloquez l'Empire Montréal.
* Jaggi Singh: Jaggi est un auteur et militant, actif avec la
