In the 2005 tax year, the Canada Revenue Agency is planning on taxing all
aboriginal post-secondary funding. Meaning, post secondary funds sponsored
by
aboriginal bands will be considered as a means of income to be taxed. This
includes, tuition, book allowance, and living allowance, scholarships,
bursaries, and travel dollars. If the students are to pay this, it only
adds
to our students expenses, if aboriginal bands who sponsor students must pay,
it
means less funding for all post-secondary students. PLEASE HELP BY SIGNING
THE
PETITION AT www.oneca.com

You'll find it under "tax issues" MIIGWETCH FOR YOUR HELP!!
