Ruptures number 4- special issue on racism and the far-right
We have planned for a long time now a entire Rupture issue on racism and
the far-right. For two years now, NEFAC collectives intervened in
anti-fascist and anti-racist actions in a wide variety of ways in their
local communities. We wanted to express this implication and theses common
struggles with a special issue covering a broad scope of perspectives. We
are particularly happy to include two articles written by comrades from
the South African anarcho-communist federation Zabalaza Anarchist
Federation on the topic of racism and anti-imperialism. You will also
find a rather complete portrait of the extreme right wing groups in
Quebec, a discussion on the campaigns within Quebec against fascists, a
discussion on the indigenous situation since the controversy around the
Approche Commune as well as a broader look at our position on Quebecs
national question.
Strike! Number 1- new English agitational!
Strike! is a tabloid newspaper covering the ever important struggles of
working people in the Northeast and across the world. From community and
workplace resistance, to the fights against racism and sexism as well as
international turmoil, the struggles that rock your world are brought to
you here with a fresh anarchist-communist perspective. In this issue of
Strike!, you will find articles on rank and file labour struggles led by
the Vermont Workers Centre and the Metropolitan Hotel Workers Committee in
Toronto, tenant union organizing with the Boston Angry Tenants Union.
Other topics covered include eco-racism, indigenous struggles, and direct
action in the streets! Plus, there is a regular column about GI resistance
within the military, and a pro-queer/feminist advice column!!!
