CKUT Radio - Taking the Fight to Bush

>From November 29 - December 1, activists from all over converged in Ottawa
in the days surrounding George W Bush's first state visit to Canada.  On
November 29, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian
People, hundreds gathered under the banner "Justice, Dignity, and
Self-Determination!" and marched to demand not only an end to the illegal
occupation of Palestine, but also an end to the deportation of Palestinian
refugees in Canada.

On November 30, tens of thousands marched again in opposition to Bush's
policies as the President wined and dined with Canada's welcoming
politicians.
