hey there -- if you're getting this e-mail, it's because you're a friend
or ally of the solidarity across borders network and the participating
groups ...

as you no doubt know, the solidarity across borders demo will be this
saturday at 1pm, starting at the corner of atwater and ste-catherine
(metro atwater). we'll be marching along ste-catherine to the complexe
guy-favreau.

as with any demo, we need help with various tasks. here's how you can plug
in:

--> PLACARDS: we'll be making placards at QPIRG-Concordia this FRIDAY from
noon-5pm. there will be placard-materials available. please come by to
help out, even if just for a half-hour or so. we need to make lots of
placards!

--> COMMUNICATIONS: we need to have a good communications team in place
for the demo, to deal with any problems, and keep things going smoothly.
if you can help with communications, please phone 514-525-9399 and leave a
message (any time). we'll be meeting on friday at 5pm just to go over the
basics.

--> SLOGANS, FLYERS, BANNERS: we will need lots of help on Saturday,
before the demo starts. we'll have chant sheets, flyers to hand out,
banners and placards to distribute, etc. etc. if you can help, and we NEED
your help, please come to the demo starting point no later than 12:30pm.
