[ISO] URGENT ACTION: Please act before 2PM on Nov 23 for Indigenous and Black lives!

[Indigenous Solidarity Ottawa]

Hello everyone, 

I hope you are well and safe. No doubt you have heard of how Indigenous
land protectors, Black organizers and allies were arrested, detained,
charged with mischief and their rights were violated for blocking an
Ottawa intersection for two days in order to put pressure on decision
makers to protect Indigenous and Black lives. Those occupying included
several Algonquin land protectors who had and have every right to be on
their own unceded territory, peacefully protesting and making
accommodations for fire fighter and paramedic vehicles to pass through. 

The Ottawa Police Services Board (OPSB) is meeting tomorrow Monday
November 23rd at 2PM. The board is supposed to represent community
interests so let them hear from the Ottawa community! 

Please send your email BEFORE TOMORROW 2PM to the OPSB. You can also
call them and leave a message, or tweet at some of the board's members
and other decision makers, and more!
