Join us tomorrow for bold action against Kinder Morgan's proposed
pipeline, and continued escalation in solidarity with Coast Salish
peoples. We will ask the Minister of Environment and Climate Change to
meet water defenders at the Watch House*.

Since direct action started last Saturday, over 170 people have been
arrested in non-violent acts of civil disobedience by violating the
injunction zone imposed by courts on behalf of Texas-based oil company
Kinder Morgan.

On Friday, 50 solidarity actions took place, with community members
delivering pristine water from the Salish sea to MP's offices. Over 100
people showed up at the event in Ottawa.

This week, Tsleil-Waututh and other Coast Salish leaders have called for
a week of ceremony on Burnaby Mountain, centered around the Watch House
that was erected on March 10. 

Here in Ottawa, organizers are planning escalated action starting
Tuesday.
