1. Friday April 7: Let's Talk Land Defence on Campus! Join us for an
evening of land defence featuring films and speakers from the Algonquins
of Barriere Lake (Quebec) who are fighting off a mining company, as well
as Muskrat Falls (Labrador) folks who are struggling with criminal
charges laid against land and water protectors who opposed flooding of
their territory.

Lake present to INAC on the impacts of third party management!

mining company as well as Muskrat Falls folks who are struggling with

symposium on how to criminalize land defenders

host an event on how to support them!

Watch Live!: Algonquins of Barriere Lake present to INAC on the impacts
of third party management
Chief Casey Ratt, Tony Wawatie (Interim Director General), and Russ
Diabo (of the Algonquin Nation Secretariat) will appear as witnesses
before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Indigenous and
Northern Affairs tomorrow (Tuesday April 4) at 8:45 AM to present
evidence on impacts of INAC's Third Party Management policy on the
Algonquins of Barriere Lake.
