Location: Rideau Park United Church -  2203 Alta Vista Dr

6 pm to 7 pm
The evening will be shared first by an opening song and closing song at
9:15 pm. During the potluck we will watch and discuss the video “
Compassionate Cities”thanks to Iman Abraham. During these conversations the
theme question “What is a Healthy Society and Democracy?” will also be
discussed in relationship to the video. Over dinner from 6 pm to 7 pm .

 Opening Circle and Closing of Circle

A beautiful singer has also offered to open and to close this evening as we
create sacred space in trust to speak from open minds and hearts. Sharing
equally in conversations as we update each other with experiences, new
ideas and actions to build upon. To build a large movement of diverse
streams of ways to accomplish the same goal of either stopping or slowing
down the development of sacred unceeded undeeded land on Chaudière and
Albert Islands in Ottawa Gatineau Cities. And to share such a vision as
www.FreeTheFalls.com To sign the petition to free the Ring Dam so the
Chaudière Falls can be seen as a natural way to create electricity for both
Ontario and Quebec and to save money and  and cleanse the polluted water of
the Ottawa River for both cities of the National Capital Region by citizens
of Canada giving politicians the political will to clean up this polluted
land and the sewerage that flows into the Ottawa from every violent storm.
For all Canadians and the world to support. Ecology becoming the new
Economy and Canada a leader in 2017!

Each month we will attract more concerned citizens to get involved in
helping to create together a healthier society and democracy by asking
questions and speaking up to those we pay to hear and represent our voices.
Around the political tables of all forms of governance especially Heritage
Canada and the NCC. Including those from all walks of life to see they have
a vested interest to care for the water and the Earth in this region.
Water and clean unpolluted land is critical to the health of citizens and
the planet herself and to all our future generations. We must help each
other to speak up.

Cleaning up the Ottawa River and cleaning up polluted toxic land is a moral
justice issue for us all. Remembering our ancestors and the sacred roots of
our original people’s culture on land in which they lived dating back to
between 4000 to 5000 years is a responsibility for us all to get informed.

These evenings promise to be life giving and I look forward to seeing you
all building on such ideas and sharing your own.
