This is an amazing opportunity to learn from these inspiring women about
their perspectives on violence, restoration and resurgence. We especially
want to encourage youth to participate. If you are a youth and/or
non-waged, registration can be free.
If you can't come for the whole event, you're welcome to come only for the
afternoon or only for the evening. In the afternoon, there will be Lee
Maracle's lecture, discussion circles and the feast (1:30 pm - 6:30 pm) and
in the evening we'll have the Ottawa launch of Leanne Betasamosake
Simpson's new book 'Dancing on Our Turtle’s Back: Stories of Nishnaabeg
