Tree Cutting Machine at the Beaver Pond has just arrived.

It appears that KNL (Urbandale) is ignoring the request of the City of
Ottawa to delay cutting until the Archaeological Studies have been
reviewed.

I wish to ask that everyone please email [or phone] the following by to
these addresses one at a time (cut and paste individual emails) and urge
the Province to please step in and halt any cutting until AFTER the
reports have been reviewed and ALL Algonquins requesting consultation have
been consulted. [Note: phoning your local MP and MPP is also important]

The City has removed itself from the process, which is incredible.

If they have removed themselves, the Province must step in.

The City is willingly allowing the destruction of potential native
artifacts and site by willingly allowing what according to researchers is
a flawed archaeological study to be accepted by the Province, and the
Province has said it is the City's responsibility to ask for a halt. The
City has not done so, so we need to Province to act.
