OTTAWA'S GREAT FOREST WELCOME RALLY FOR CHAN & McGUINTY

Saturday, February 5 · 6:00pm - 7:00pm
at the Westin Hotel (11 Colonel By Drive)

we are waiting to see how Tourism and Culture Minister Michael Chan
responds to our requests to visit the South March Highlands. He has the
power to issue a stop work order. the final decision will be made tomorrow
morning on whether to hold a rally outside the Westin. please consider
keeping a 30-45 min slot open at 6pm tmr to join us for a rally outside
the Westin, where the provincial Liberals are meeting from Feb4-6 and
McGuinty is giving a speech at 6:30pm on Sat.

2011 BLESSING OF THE WATER CEREMONY

The women are invited to the Blessing of the water ceremony, who will be
held at Victoria Island (*note: in recent years, many men have been coming
to offer their support to the prayers):

Saturday, February the 5th at 10:30hrs a.m. at Victoria Island

11:30 to 3 hrs:
Potlach, teaching and drumming will follow at the Centre Fontaine, 120
Charlevoix, Gatineau (Hull).

Bring your  tea bundle (place setting) and small portions.
Please wear a skirt; bring your drum, water and your heart.

It will be a pleasure to share this ceremony with you, for the healing of
the water and of Mother Earth.

I hope we will have with us a few grandmothers who were at the first
ceremony.
