What: Traditional Inuit activities and performances
Where: Parliament Hill behind the Centennial Flame
When: Friday, September 10, 2010, 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. rain or shine
Why: To celebrate and promote the Inuit way of life

Water and light country food snacks will be available but please bring
your own lunch and beverage.

Parliament Hill, Ottawa— Front Lawn at the Centennial Flame (Fire Pit)

THIS IS A PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION STAGED TO SEND A UNITED VOICE TO THE
GOVERNMENT OF CANADA THAT WE WILL NOT TOLERATE CHRONIC UNDERFUNDING FOR
OUR STUDENTS.

Remember, this rally is about leveling the playing field for First Nation
students and the funding they receive for Post Secondary Education.
Education is a Treaty Right that we need to defend and protect.
Ottawa needs to hear the voice of our young people!

The film "For the Next 7 Generations: 13 Indigenous Grandmothers Weaving a
World that Works" will be presented at PranaShanti Yoga Center in
conjunction with the 4th Annual Peace Festival. Please post and/or

Local Indigenous women, Grandmother Isabelle Meawasige and Cindy Gaudet
will present the film.

Grandmother Isabelle Meawasige, Traditional Ojibwe Healer, will be

1st at Kumik Lodge, 10 Wellington Street, Hull, QC. To book your
