Film Screening: FOR THE NEXT 7 GENERATIONS

FOR THE NEXT 7 GENERATIONS documents the momentous journey of thirteen
Indigenous Grandmothers as they travel around the globe to promote world
peace and share their indigenous ways of healing. Moved by their concern
for our planet, these wise elders, shamans and medicine women formed an
alliance called The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers.
Since 2004, they have travelled to the Amazon rainforest, the mountains of
Mexico, to Africa, to the Vatican, to North America and to India for a
private meeting with the Dalai Lama. Facing a world in crisis, they share
with us their visions of healing and a call for change now.
