Monday, November 16th is Louis Riel Day in Ottawa and to celebrate the
Centre for Aboriginal Culture and Education, alongside CUSA's Aboriginal
Service Centre has a list of events planned for the day.
11:00am, Canadian Studies Lounge (12th Floor Dunton Tower)
Join us in the Canadian Studies Lounge, as National Aboriginal Role Model
Jessica Dunkley will be visiting. Jessica's story of resiliency is
inspirational so please don't miss this opportunity to attend. Jessica's
bio, please see link below. Also, during this meet and greet a sampling of
Métis cuisine will be offered.

12:30-3pm, Atrium (4th floor of the Unicentre)
In the Atrium, Conlin Delbaere-Sawchuk (from the Métis Fiddler Quartet)
and friend Nora Pellerin will be fiddling for the Carleton community.
Afterwards, we will be joined by the "Jig on the Fly", who will be sure to
get us up and moving!
