WATCH FOR MORE DETAILS AS THEY UNFOLD

Hi Friends,

Unconfirmed reports indicate that plans for new logging by Weyerhaeuser on
Grassy Traditional Territory have been approved without consent.  The
logging is expected to begin soon.

I am waiting for more details, and then I will convene a strategy conference
call for Grassy organizers and supporting organizations.

Please start thinking about what your organization can contribute.  It is
critical that we see through the progress we have made here, and don't allow
this important precedent to be undone.  This is an important time for the
people in Grassy to feel our support behind them.

I am looking forward to working with you to ensure that this regression is
met with an appropriate response.
