For all members,
instructions for removing yourself from any GNU Mailman mailing list:
1) follow (click on) the url seen at the bottom of every message,
2) enter your email address into the field 
   after "To unsubscribe..." near the bottom of the page
3) you will be taken to page where you can click Unsubscribe button
4) you will receive a confirmation link by email, click it.

and moderator of other lists
i'd like to know what you mean by
"this is getting ridiculous":
- too many messages?
- type of messages not what you expected?
- messages not on topic?
- you were added without permission?
- other
Help us make the list better even as you leave.
(Please respond to only one person (e.g. me)
and they can bring it to a meeting for discussion.)
