[Indigsol] Search for Maisy & Shannon

Hello, there will be a search for Maisy & Shannon (missing teens from
Kitigan Zibi) in Maniwaki on Saturday, May 2, 2009.  Please see the attached
poster.  Amnesty International is willing to help with transportation
leaving Ottawa by 8 am (maybe).  Please let me know if you would like to go.
Amnesty needs to know the number of people who will go there to arrange for
transportation.

 

Laurie Odjick, Maisy's mom, has been very frustrated with the incompetent,
unprofessional, uncooperative, unaccountable behaviour of the Kitigan Zibi
Police Services and le Surete du Quebec.  She is also unsatisfied with the
Chief and Council's lack of leadership in directing concrete action and
demanding accountability from the police concerning Maisy's case.  She needs
our help!!  She feels that her daughter's rights are violated.
