Couldn't have said things better Lia. I think the idea of 2 list-serves may
a good one. It would be a shame to have anyone be "out of the loop", just
because their email boxes get filled with information, some of which they
don't find useful.

And on a second note, I would like to congratulate Lia, for an article
published in the Sept/Oct. edition of *Canadian Dimension*. It is called
"The Gold Bug" and is about companies and workers in the gold-mining
industry. Thank you Lia, both for an excellent article and for your input
into the group, even though your are not in the Ottawa area for the time
being.

>>> Chief Doreen Davis is furious over MNR drops charges against Gemmill's,
>>> Frontenac Ventures published Thursday, September 4 by Jeff Green, editor of
>>> the Frontenac News. The article refers to statements made by George White,
>>> President of Frontenac Ventures Corporation that he is "... in the midst of
>>> negotiations aimed at signing a memorandum of understanding with the Shabot
>>> Obaadjiwan and Snimikobe First Nations regarding the company's test drilling
>>> program which is set to commence soon".
>>>
>>> "We are not...I repeat not...in the midst of negotiating an MOU with

>>>
>>> In June of this year Frontenac Ventures forfeited a significant portion

>>>
>>> The Algonquins of Ontario have selected the impugned lands for "Nation

>>>
>>> "As of today, we have called off discussions with Frontenac Ventures and
