Reminder of the Walk4Justice 9am/9:30am march, 10am-4pm rally on Monday Sept 15
(details follow)
But also wanted to let people know of a suggestion we received from someone in Montreal, who couldn't make it to Ottawa herself for this but was looking for people to do some sort of video / audio media coverage. She was specifically looking for a person(s) to put stuff up to the IsumaTV website, but it is probably a good idea in general if we can do some independent media coverage of this event (video, audio, photos, writing, ...) so if you are able, please consider it, or if you know someone who possibly could, maybe forward this along to them ...
Here's what Sarita had to say (you can contact her at sarita at resist.ca):
"Basically IsumaTV is interested in general coverage of the 15th walk to parliament; things like personal insights from organisers and walkers, family members, and allies are good in order to highlight the importance of this grassroots action, part of larger indigenous rights struggle in canada.
if folx in your group are writing, taking pics, doing audio, or filming i assume they will be posting their reports on indymedia and other similar sites.
IsumaTV is simply another online platform to post it; they just have to register and open a channel (to submit and upload their work), and follow instructions.
