barriere lake folks are trying to get a radio station there.
programing would includes shows on:
- algonquin language
- algonquin culture
- news and music
they are looking for people with experience in radio and independent media
- trying to influence MP there in the upcoming election.

Outaoiuais Social Forum nov.7-9
- michelle from barriere lake will be giving a workshop.  barriere lake
will have a table there.  ipsmo could have a table there, too.

ardoch pow wow
- david welsh is collaborating with one of the ardoch co-chiefs for a
presentation at the OSF.
- david is doing the presentation in his own name, but ipsmo could be
involved in some way.
- need to prepare for actions in support of algonquins.
- greg may take ipsmo details to chief william commanda

promotions
- made poster
- made press release
- made e-mail announcement
- posters are available at exile infoshop, 256 bank st.  open
wednesday-sunday 12-8.
- press release needs to question the police
- hold police accountable
- get projector for movie and a white sheet to show it on.

sept. 12th
graeme has got 4 or 5 headliners who will be performing.  more info to
follow.

six nations
matt and mary went down to the land protection site on thursday, and came
back friday.  we gave them $200.

ipsm list

matt subscribed everyone to the already existing ipsmo list [IndigSol].
matt has asked for an e-mail address from resist. should have one in a
week or 2.
