i went to cango afar event for afar tribe in africa. learn about
biofilters. guy they got from who designed this concrete (poured)
very resilient biosand filter (mould) - i went thinking i could learn
how it was done, and so this group could be involed in helping ensure
the health, sustainability and resilience of native communities, ie in
case of crisis, suddenly being disconnected and unable to get supplies
in by GAS vehicle, or otherwise continue to receive external suport,
etc.
I learned from Warren Creade )sp?)
That has has already, himself, been involved in supporting that issue
and cause in that way...
Warren said they flew him down, he trained them how make and
maintiains the filters etc (and how to teach that, on some level as
well)
I see the potential for networking.
