hi folks -- i was able to speak directly with katenies two days ago. she's
not intending to attend court on oct 21 and instead will send along some
sort of document again asserting that canada and the crown answer the
jurisdiction question. i asked her if she thought people should mobilize to
court on oct 21 anyways, and she said no. she'll stay in touch about what's
she doing, and maybe we can re-send our solidarity statement at the around
oct 21, in support of the document that katenies will be submitting.

all to say that it looks like we're not going to alexandria on oct 21. i
encourage folks who know katenies to check in with her as well, or just send
her a note of support.
