You are invited to participate in the upcoming "Organizing for Justice"
conference that is being held in Ottawa from November 20th to 22nd 2008.
There is no cost to participate. Donations are welcome and useful but not
necessary.
This conference is open to people involved and/or interested in community
organizing. The four main themes of the conference are: social justice;
economic justice; environmental justice and healthy communities.
Organizing for Justice presents a space for community organizers,
activists and interested individuals to come together, develop strategy,
share vision, and work on skills and tools that will help them in their
efforts to effect change.
This conference* is brought to you by Common Cause Ottawa, OPIRG-Ottawa,
OPIRG-Carleton, the Students' Federation of the University of Ottawa, and
the Social Planning Council of Ottawa. Special thanks to CKCU-FM 93.1 and
