Hello everyone,
The ruling on Friday was absolute crap, as you may have heard.
Bob Lovelace is in jail for 6 months, plus a fine of $25 000, and a fee ($1
000- $2 000? sources do not agree) for every day he does not comply
Paula Sherman has been fined $15 000.
Ardoch Algonquins have been fined $10 000.

RALLY IN SUPPORT OF BOB LOVELACE
Saturday, Feb 23 from 11am to 2pm.
Quinte Regional Detention Centre, 89 Richmond St, Napanee.
(Note: We don't know where Bob is at the moment. He has been transferred and
they won't tell CCAMU where he is "for security reasons". The Rally is
continuing anyway to show support and gratitude to Bob and to show our
determination to carry on with new vigour.)
Directions: Hwy 401, exit at Hwy 41 (#579), turn left at the T, then left at
next
stoplight, which is Richmond. Permission has been granted to park in the
Walmart parking lot, on the west side of the roadway.
Speakers confirmed to date include: Craig Benjamin, Campaigner for the Human
Rights of Indigenous Peoples, Amnesty International, as well as a
representative from Queen's University. A letter of support from Scott Reid
and Randy Hillier, Conservative MP, and Progressive Conservative MPP, from
the riding of Lanark, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington will be read out.
