[Indigsol] WORKING GROUP APPLICATIONS DECISION!! PLEASE RESPOND BY DECEMBER 5th

Hello There Alternative Heritage Moments, Animal Rights, Books to Prisoners,
IPSMO, and Media WG,

Your group's working group application has been reviewed and endorsed.
Thanks for applying and we are glad to have your group be part of
OPIRG-Carleton. The budget for your working group has not been determined at
this point. Ideally this will happen in early to mid December. If you were
not able to submit a budget with your application you please do so in the
next week.

There are some additional items that need to be dealt with as soon as
possible. PLEASE RESPOND BY DECEMBER 5th.. (even if its to tell me when your
group will be able to decide on some of these things)

*1. Group Liaisons *
Please inform me of your group's finance and general OPIRG liaisons. I will
need their name, email and phone number.

*2.Movie Night *for Second Semester
Please pick a date you would like to screen a film and let know what date
and film.
Things to keep in mind:
                                   Winter term begins the 8th of January and
ends 9th of April
                                   Reading week is Feb 18th -22nd
inclusively
                                   The University is closed the 21st and
24th of march
                                   There is already a group showing a film
on January 17th (IPSMO)
                                   The winter colloquium is on January 30th
and Tools for change is the 1st and 2nd of February.
                                   The OPIRG info fair is January 16th and
17th in the atrium (10-4ish)

Please be aware that we want all the working groups to have a presence at
the fair, hand out info, talk to people and other working groups. Now is the
time to plan. Let me know if your group has any special needs for your
display and who will be able to bottom line staffing your table for the
day(s).

*4. OPIRG training* is planned for Feb. 1st and 2nd. Please let me know what
type of training your group members need or want. *Consensus decision making
and anti-oppression training is mandatory for all*.


*5.* Other events
The wednesday weekly and website are great places to announce events. Write
ups for the Wednesday Weekly can be sent to me vcopirg at gmail.com. Please
send them in plain text (no color, italics, bold, regular size font (12)).
To guarentee a spot please send announcements by Tuesday morning.
